Rangers finally released the recently hyped fourth kit. By hyped, we mean leaked and derided by the majority of those who saw it. Reaction to the official launch has not exactly been terribly positive, and comparisons have categorically been drawn…

Rangers have officially released their fourth kit, drawing heavy criticism from supporters following its launch. According to a reader poll conducted by Ibrox Noise, 80 percent of Rangers fans surveyed do not plan to purchase the new shirt. Supporters and the publisher drew direct visual comparisons between the design and the primary kit of English League One club Wycombe Wanderers.
Writer Sam Groves argues the release is completely unnecessary because Rangers are no longer competing in European tournaments. The writer characterizes the kit launch as an overly cynical cash grab, criticizing the bewildering color combination and noting widespread negative feedback across social media regarding the expected £85 price tag.
