The Scotland cap has still not made an appearance for his new club following a deadline day switch

Scotland midfielder Connor Barron is yet to make his debut for Middlesbrough after joining the English Championship club on a deadline day loan from Rangers. The 24-year-old was allowed to leave Ibrox by manager Derek McInnes to find regular game time but has since been left out of Middlesbrough's recent matchday squads.
Middlesbrough boss Kim Hellberg explained that Barron's absence is due to intense squad competition and his late arrival. Hellberg praised the midfielder's training attitude alongside fellow summer signing Rokas Pukstas, stating that Barron will receive opportunities to play as the season progresses.
