Rangers are still waiting to see what Badredine Bouanani can do. It was a busy end to the summer window and it ended with the Algerian coming through the doors.
Details surrounding Badredine Bouanani's loan agreement at Rangers have emerged as the 21-year-old winger adapts to Scottish football. The Algerian attacker arrived at Ibrox on a loan deal from German club Stuttgart during the summer transfer window after earlier spells with OGC Nice and Lorient. Rangers are reportedly covering his full weekly salary of £33,000 to £36,000, amounting to around £1.8 million over the course of the season.
Should manager Derek McInnes and Rangers decide to sign Bouanani permanently at the end of the campaign, reports indicate the Scottish club would need to pay approximately £15.5 million. That transfer fee would represent a Scottish record outlay, placing significant performance expectations on the young winger to establish himself as a vital asset at Ibrox.
