Kosta Nedeljkovic faces an uncertain future at Rangers as details of his season-long loan deal from Aston Villa are examined. The 20-year-old Serbian right-back has struggled for playing time under manager Derek McInnes, failing to feature since scoring an own goal against Falkirk on September 2. Improved performances from Dujon Sterling have limited Nedeljkovic's opportunities to establish consistency in the first team.
Rangers reportedly cover Nedeljkovic's weekly wages of approximately £10,000, totaling around £520,000 annually. The agreement reportedly includes a £4 million buy option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the campaign. Max Wilkins reports that Nedeljkovic will require a significant upturn in form before Rangers consider triggering the permanent purchase option.
