Marink Reedijk tonight admitted seeing Hibernian fans singing Sunshine on Leith after their win over Hearts caused his “ice king” public persona to crack.
Hibernian manager Marink Reedijk admitted that his "ice king" persona cracked after hearing supporters sing Sunshine on Leith following their Premier Sports Cup semi-final victory over Hearts. Hibs came from behind at Hampden to win courtesy of goals from Martin Boyle and Jamie McGrath, earning Reedijk his first victory since taking charge from David Gray in September.
The victory marks Hibs' first-ever win against their Edinburgh rivals at Hampden and sets up a final against Rangers on Sunday, December 13. Reedijk expressed strong belief that his team can cause an upset in the final if they maintain their current progression, work rate, and tactical execution.
