Rangers are still hoping that Youssef Chermiti can return from injury as soon as possible. The striker joined the Bears last year in a £10million move from Ever

A new photo showing a prominent post-surgery scar on Youssef Chermiti's knee during a community visit highlighted the severity of his ACL injury, writes Jacob Raw. The 22-year-old Rangers striker suffered the setback just three games into the campaign under manager Derek McInnes, leaving him in a race against time to return before late April.
Raw questions whether the Portuguese forward will regain his previous explosiveness and form following the devastating setback. Rangers had turned down a reported £22 million bid from Galatasaray in August before the injury, but the writer notes that strike partners Ryan Naderi and Kevin Kelsy have stepped up effectively in his absence.
