The Scotland star has earned glowing praise from his new manager at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, Raffaele Palladino

Scotland midfielder Lewis Ferguson has received strong praise from new Bologna manager Raffaele Palladino, who highlighted the player's versatility and intelligence. This comes after Ferguson's father, Derek Ferguson, stated that the "ship has sailed" for the 27-year-old to join his boyhood club Rangers, despite a verbal agreement having been reached during the summer transfer window.
Ferguson has played every minute for Bologna this season, captaining the side in three of their first four matches. Following a poor start to the season, Bologna replaced manager Domenico Tedesco with Palladino, who has confirmed that Ferguson remains a key part of his plans.
