DEREK McINNES claimed Dundee's equaliser felt like a balloon popping for his Rangers side as they threw away two points from a winning position at Dens Park.

Rangers manager Derek McInnes expressed deep frustration after Dundee earned a 2-2 draw at Dens Park, halting his side's bid for a seventh consecutive league victory that would have put them top of the table. After Bradley Fink opened the scoring for Dundee, Rangers rallied to take the lead through goals from Badredine Bouanani and Nico Raskin before Callum Jones capitalized on a Dan Neil stumble to equalize.
McInnes lamented the defensive lapse, comparing the momentum loss to a popping balloon after Rangers had taken complete control of the match. Dundee manager Steven Pressley praised his players for their courageous display, noting they became the first team to take points off Rangers in eight matches.
