Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez stated that teammate Olwethu Makhanya has even more to offer as he continues adjusting to Scottish football. Makhanya joined Rangers from MLS club Philadelphia Union over the summer in a deal worth around £3 million and quickly established a starting partnership with Fernandez under manager Derek McInnes.
Speaking to Footy Africa, Fernandez praised Makhanya's quality while noting that the South African defender is still building his understanding of the game in Scotland. Makhanya recently made his competitive debut for South Africa in a 2-1 win over Guinea, while Rangers entered the international break on a six-game winning run.
