Rangers loanee causes instant shake-up as would-be rival steps back

Rangers goalkeeper Mason Munn has completed a season-long loan move to Scottish League Two side Dumbarton. The 20-year-old Northern Ireland youth international has only made one competitive appearance for Rangers and is seeking first-team experience. His arrival has immediately impacted the Dumbarton squad despite Munn not yet playing a minute for his new club.

Following Munn's signing, Dumbarton goalkeeper Harry Broun decided to step back from his playing career to focus on life away from football. Dumbarton manager Frank McKeown confirmed the decision, noting that Broun felt the timing was right to step away after Munn joined the club's existing group of goalkeepers.
