The Story in 60 Seconds

Rangers defender Kosta Nedeljkovic came inches away from scoring his first international goal for Serbia during their Nations League match against Germany in Munich. Just after the half-hour mark, Filip Kostic delivered a cross toward the far post, but Nedeljkovic narrowly missed turning the ball into an empty net to take the lead. Germany eventually secured a 2-0 victory with goals from Tom Bischof and Florian Wirtz.

The 20-year-old right-back is currently on loan at Rangers from Aston Villa and is aiming to impress manager Derek McInnes during the international break. Although Nedeljkovic has earned 13 senior caps for Serbia, he remains in search of his first international goal as Serbia prepares to face the Netherlands.
