McLeish does not want the Old Firm to be a “hard luck story” for St Mirren as he prepares for the visit of Rangers in the Premiership on Saturday night.
St Mirren manager Craig McLeish stated his team must stop being a "hard luck story" against the Old Firm ahead of their upcoming Premiership match against Rangers. McLeish emphasized that the Buddies want to go toe-to-toe with Celtic and Rangers and achieve positive results rather than accepting praise for competitive defeats.
Since taking charge of St Mirren in March, McLeish has overseen multiple narrow losses against the Glasgow giants, including a recent 1-0 defeat at Ibrox and a 2-1 loss to Celtic. He noted that his side will adapt tactically to remain unpredictable and attempt to secure a breakthrough result.
