The Story in 60 Seconds

Pundits James McFadden and Steven Thompson agreed on BBC Sportscene that St Johnstone midfielder Kai Fotheringham was harshly sent off against Rangers. Following a pitch-side VAR review by referee Chris Graham in the 73rd minute, Fotheringham was shown a red card for a challenge on Nicolas Raskin during Rangers' 4-0 victory at Ibrox.

Both McFadden and Thompson argued the challenge lacked malice and excessive force. However, St Johnstone manager Simo Valakari had no complaints about the dismissal, noting the follow-through was high, while former referee Keith Hackett told Ibrox News the red card was correct.
