The loanee has yet to make his debut for the English Championship side months after his Ibrox exit

Former Rangers interim manager Ferguson has urged the club to end Connor Barron's loan spell at Middlesbrough due to a lack of playing time. The 24-year-old midfielder moved to the English Championship side on deadline day after being told he could leave Ibrox by Derek McInnes, but he has yet to make his debut.
Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg explained that Barron struggled to get up to speed following an injury-hampered pre-season, though he praised the player after recently naming him on the bench against Stoke City. Ferguson argued that Rangers should recall Barron and arrange another loan if he will not feature regularly.
