The Hearts star has shown his strengths when called upon for the Jambos this season.

Hearts winger Rogers Mato has credited head coach Wouter Vrancken for restoring his confidence and offering him a platform to succeed at Tynecastle. The 22-year-old Ugandan international arrived from FK Vardar during the winter transfer window but saw little playing time under previous manager Derek McInnes. Under Vrancken, Mato has featured six times, recording two goals and an assist.
Mato recently scored in Hearts' 3-0 Premier Sports Cup quarterfinal victory over Stenhousemuir. Despite facing competition on the wings from Josh McPake, Calvin Miller, and Sabah Kerjota, Mato emphasized the importance of remaining patient while adapting to life in Scotland.
