The midfielder netted twice in the dramatic 4-3 victory over Bodo/Glimt on Tuesday night…

Scott McTominay believes he is very close to reaching his peak after scoring two goals in Napoli's 4-3 Champions League victory on Tuesday. The Scotland midfielder recently returned to action following minor heart surgery, helping kick-start Napoli's European campaign. Speaking after the win, McTominay noted he still needs athletic work to reach top shape but hopes to maintain his fitness going forward.
The 4-3 triumph relieved pressure on Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri, who has won four of ten matches since replacing Antonio Conte in the summer. Meanwhile, McTominay's former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag recently expressed disappointment over the club's decision to sell the midfielder to Napoli two years ago despite wanting to keep him.
