St Johnstone manager Simo Valakari has challenged his team to make Rangers feel as uncomfortable as possible during their upcoming William Hill Premiership match at Ibrox on Saturday. Fifth-placed Saints are preparing for a difficult test against a Rangers side looking to rebound from a 2-2 draw with Dundee that ended their seven-game winning streak and left them four points behind leaders Celtic.
Valakari emphasized that St Johnstone will not abandon their attacking principles despite expecting moments where they will be pinned back into a low block. He urged his players to stay composed in front of 50,000 supporters and make the most of their possession rather than simply hoping for a result.
