Spanish opposition leader Alberto Nunez Feijoo has urged Spain to withdraw as co-hosts of the 2030 World Cup if Morocco is chosen to host the final. Speaking to El Chiringuito TV, the People's Party leader stated that the final belongs to Spain and that the country should leave the organization of the tournament rather than be humiliated.

The 2030 tournament will be co-hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, with FIFA yet to confirm the final's venue. While Spain offers venues such as the Santiago Bernabeu and Camp Nou, Morocco is pushing for the planned 115,000-capacity Grand Stade Hassan II in Casablanca.
