Max Allegri insists Kevin De Bruyne ‘is going to really enjoy himself playing in front of the defence,’ but Napoli’s 4-3 win over Bodo/Glimt still created Champions League concerns.

Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri warned that his team is still "too fragile" despite securing a 4-3 Champions League victory over FK Bodo/Glimt at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Allegri addressed using Kevin De Bruyne in a deeper midfield position in front of the defense, insisting the Belgian will enjoy the role. A brace from Scott McTominay, a volley from Matteo Politano, and a deflected strike from Giovane sealed the win.
Allegri highlighted the need for defensive patience and better interceptions near the penalty area to stop conceding dangerous chances. He noted that Frank Anguissa made his first start since September 5 and Stanislav Lobotka was rested, while stressing that McTominay is still working toward his top form.
