Amorim bemoans dropped points in dissection of Sassuolo draw: “A question of mentality”

AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim voiced frustration after his team drew 1-1 against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium. Adrien Rabiot opened the scoring for Milan with a long-range strike in the second half, but Sassuolo quickly responded with an equalizer from Odenthal following a corner kick. The result marked Amorim's third draw in six Serie A matches since taking charge of the Rossoneri.

Speaking to Sky after the match, Amorim attributed the dropped points to a mentality issue, stressing that the team failed to manage possession after taking the lead. He also expressed concern over an injury suffered by defender Matteo Gabbia, noting that the severity and expected recovery time remain undetermined.
