Youssouf Fofana has made an impressive start at Sevilla, where manager Luis Garcia described his arrival as a "gift." After being cast aside by Ruben Amorim at AC Milan, the French midfielder secured a deadline-day loan move to the Spanish club after a proposed transfer to Lyon fell through.
Fofana has scored one goal in four appearances while adapting to an attacking midfield role in Garcia's 4-2-3-1 setup. Under the loan terms, which feature no option or obligation to buy, Milan covers approximately 60% of his €3 million net salary.
