Former AC Milan defender Billy Costacurta expressed strong frustration following the club's 2-0 Europa League defeat against Ferencvaros. Speaking to Corriere dello Sport via Football Italia, Costacurta criticized the squad's timid attitude, describing the opening 45 minutes as one of the worst halves Milan has played in the last four or five years.
Costacurta also questioned the commitment of several players, highlighting poor starts from early substitutes and singling out midfielder Adrien Rabiot for a subpar performance. The disappointing midweek result dampened momentum following Milan's recent derby victory over rivals Inter.
