Ruben Amorim granted his AC Milan squad Friday afternoon off as a rest reward following their return flight from Austria, Gazzetta dello Sport reports. The squad is scheduled to resume training on Saturday morning ahead of their upcoming Serie A fixture against Atalanta at San Siro.
The decision followed a positive week featuring a draw with Sassuolo and a 4-0 away win against RB Salzburg in the Europa League. Amorim chose to prioritize squad rest to avoid overworking players during a busy schedule.
