La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the design for the new San Siro stadium will be officially unveiled on Thursday. Designed by architect Norman Foster, the venue will feature an oval shape with a fixed roof, standing on a podium with parking underneath. The facility will have a capacity of 71,500 across two steep tiers built at a 37-degree slope, with external LED lighting tailored for AC Milan and Inter.
The complex includes expanded hospitality options ranging from 8,000 to 13,000 seats, alongside sky boxes and an exclusive Tunnel Club. The clubs have budgeted around €100 million for soundproofing insulation to minimize noise for nearby residents. Upgrades also incorporate comprehensive disability access, modern restrooms, diverse food concessions, and advanced LED displays.
