Como paid €60m to retain Nico Paz last summer, but Real Madrid still has an option to re-buy the Argentine for €80m.

Real Madrid holds an option to re-sign Argentine midfielder Nico Paz from Como for €80 million ahead of the 2027-2028 season. The update follows Paz's standout display in Como's 4-1 Champions League victory over Manchester United, where he recorded two goals and an assist. Paz originally joined the Italian side on a permanent transfer from Real Madrid in 2024.
Como previously paid €60 million to keep Paz for the 2026-2027 campaign after Madrid agreed to waive an earlier €10 million buy-back clause at the player's request. Paz is under contract with Como until June 2028. Real Madrid also retains a future re-signing option on Como defender Jacobo Ramon, who arrived in 2025.
