Juventus host Napoli at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday with both clubs level on 14 points ahead of Serie A Matchday 10. Both sides face major absences, as Napoli will be without suspended manager Massimiliano Allegri and injured midfielder Stanislav Lobotka. Assistant coach Marco Landucci will take charge of Napoli from the bench, while Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti must navigate seven player absences across his squad.
Napoli midfielder Lobotka suffered an ankle injury against Monza, while Benoît Badiashile and David Neres also remain sidelined. Juventus are coping with long-term injuries to Kenan Yildiz, Khéphren Thuram, Manuel Locatelli, and Kamil Grabara, although forward Jeff Ekhator has returned. Following a recent defeat to Genoa, Juventus chief executive Giovanni Carnevali held a squad meeting, with John Elkann maintaining his backing for Spalletti.
