Inter’s miserable week has taken another turn for the worse, with captain Lautaro Martinez facing…

Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez faces several weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring strain and is expected to miss the Milan derby on October 31. The Argentine forward suffered the muscle injury during Inter's 4-3 Champions League loss to Club Brugge on Tuesday, despite scoring twice in the fixture. Medical tests conducted at the Humanitas Institute confirmed a left thigh hamstring strain.
Martinez is ruled out of upcoming matches against Bologna and Shakhtar Donetsk, with additional fixtures against Fiorentina and Venezia also affected. While Inter hopes for a recovery ahead of the Milan clash, reports suggest a return against Atalanta on November 22 is more realistic. Marcus Thuram, Pio Esposito, and Ange-Yoan Bonny will be relied upon in attack during his absence.
