AC Milan returns to Serie A action against Sassuolo following a three-week break, with writer Oliver Fisher highlighting five critical individual matchups. Manager Ruben Amorim is projected to start Pervis Estupinan, Goncalo Ramos, Diego Moreira, and Christian Pulisic. A major focus is placed on Estupinan defending Domenico Berardi, who has scored 12 career Serie A goals against the Rossoneri.

Other notable battles featured in the preview include striker Ramos against on-loan defender Fedde Leysen, and young talent Vasilije Adzic against Milan midfielder Adrien Rabiot. In midfield, Sassuolo's Nemanja Matic is expected to counter Pulisic, while winger Moreira is set to challenge Sassuolo right-back Simone Cinquegrano.
