The Story in 60 Seconds

Italy head coach Roberto Mancini is reportedly set to omit nine players from his matchday squad for Friday's UEFA Nations League match against France in Paris. Because Mancini called up a 34-man group for the international camp and can only select 23 players, several individuals must miss out alongside injured duo Nicolo Zaniolo and Giacomo Raspadori.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the players expected to be omitted include Alessandro Romano, Samuele Inacio, Massimo Pessina, Diego Coppola, Daniele Ghilardi, Honest Ahanor, Eddy Kouadio, Rolando Mandragora, and Nicolo Cambiaghi. The group of excluded players will reportedly train separately at Coverciano on Thursday.
