Modric strongly hints at desire for Real Madrid return: “It’s my home”

Luka Modric has addressed questions regarding his future, admitting he would love to return to Real Madrid, which he described as his home. Speaking to Partidazo de Cope, the 41-year-old Croatian midfielder explained that while a return would be a dream, several factors would need to align, including whether the club wants him back and the specific role he could play.

Modric joined AC Milan in the summer of 2025 and signed a contract extension after making 34 appearances in his debut campaign. Despite missing Madrid, Modric stated that he remains happy at Milan, taking his career month-by-month as long as he maintains his passion, ambition, and physical fitness.
