Newcastle join Juventus and Roma in race for Sporting’s Doumbia

Newcastle United, Juventus, and Roma are actively tracking Sporting CP midfielder Issa Doumbia, according to reports from A Bola and Tuttomercatoweb. The Portuguese newspaper featured the 23-year-old on its front page, highlighting Juventus and Newcastle as leading suitors alongside interest from Gian Piero Gasperini's Roma and other Premier League clubs.

Doumbia joined Sporting after Venezia signed him for €1m and secured promotion to Serie A. Sporting subsequently completed a permanent transfer for €20m plus €6m in add-ons, signing him through 2031 with an €80m release clause that activates next July. The midfielder recently earned his first start for Italy and scored in a 2-0 Champions League win over Lens.
