Napoli have confirmed that midfielder Stanislav Lobotka suffered a low-grade ankle injury during Wednesday's Serie A fixture against Monza. The 31-year-old was stretchered off in tears at the U-Power Stadium, though Napoli ultimately secured a 4-1 victory. Official tests revealed damage to the distal tibiofibular syndesmosis without instability alongside a low-grade injury to his left anterior talofibular ligament.
Italian media reports indicate Lobotka will face between four and eight weeks on the sidelines. Corriere dello Sport anticipates at least one month of recovery time, while other outlets report up to two months. The Slovakian international has made 12 appearances and scored one goal across all competitions for Napoli this season.
