Former AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato has revealed that club owner Gerry Cardinale attempted to sign Real Madrid striker Endrick during the summer transfer window. Speaking at the Festival dello Sport, Pato confirmed that Cardinale pursued the Brazilian forward but ultimately did not succeed in securing a deal.
Pato suggested that the 20-year-old striker needs to seek a move to find regular playing time, noting that Endrick has managed only four minutes across eight games this season. Previous reports had linked Milan with a potential loan move for the forward before the transfer deadline.
