Pellegatti offers explanation for Milan’s stark improvement against Lecce: “Why did Amorim change?”

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti has shared his view on why AC Milan improved in their victory against Lecce under manager Ruben Amorim. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Pellegatti suggested that a frank discussion between Amorim and his squad led to necessary tactical adjustments following recent draws against Lazio and Juventus and a defeat to Benfica.

According to Pellegatti, the squad addressed defensive vulnerabilities on the right flank involving Mario Gila and Samuel Chukwueze. Pellegatti also highlighted improved positioning for goalscorer Adrien Rabiot and credited tactical protection for allowing midfielder Luka Modric to perform at his highest level.
