Qatari fund Al Mirqab has reportedly expressed preliminary interest in acquiring a stake or buying Italian club Inter Milan. The Doha-based fund manages assets for Sheik Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, who already maintains major real estate holdings in Italy. Current owners Oaktree took control after the club's previous owner defaulted on a loan.

Club president Giuseppe Marotta declined to shut down the rumors during a recent interview, emphasizing that the ownership will act in the club's best long-term interest.
