Reports in Spain claim that Atletico Madrid have been impressed with what they have seen…

Atletico Madrid have reportedly decided to make Jonathan David's loan move from Juventus permanent at the end of the 2026-27 season. Spanish outlet Relevo reports that the club has been thoroughly impressed by the Canadian international's fast start in Spain and has already allocated a €25m budget for the permanent transfer.
David joined Atletico on an initial loan deal containing a €25m purchase option following a challenging single season with Juventus in Serie A. The forward has made an immediate impact in Madrid, recording three goals and two assists in his first four LaLiga appearances.
