Juventus are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of Sassuolo midfielder Darryl Bakola for a potential permanent transfer in the upcoming January window. Bianconeri director general Giovanni Carnevali previously brought Bakola to Sassuolo from Olympique Marseille and is keen to reunite with the teenager in Turin to strengthen the midfield under coach Luciano Spalletti.
Sassuolo signed Bakola for €10m plus €2m in add-ons, and his strong start to the season has drawn interest before his valuation increases further. With midfielders Khephren Thuram and Manuel Locatelli sidelined by long-term injuries, Juventus are eager to secure the 18-year-old ahead of anticipated Premier League competition.
