Napoli and Venezia have confirmed their starting lineups for their Serie A Week 7 match at Stadio Pierluigi Penzo. Facing an injury crisis and fatigue following a Champions League defeat to Villarreal, Napoli started Lorenzo Lucca, Giovane, and Scott McTominay in attack. Venezia entered the match under new head coach Davide Nicola after losing their opening six league fixtures.
Napoli rested Rasmus Hojlund and Kevin De Bruyne, while David Neres and Alessandro Buongiorno remained sidelined through injury. Venezia, coping with their own absentees including Armel Bella-Kotchap and Thierry Correia, named Akor Adams and John Yeboah to lead their offensive line.
