Bologna earned a 4-2 comeback victory over AC Milan at San Siro, spurred by a hat-trick from Samuel Mbangula. Although Mbangula scored the opening goal in the eighth minute, Milan responded with a first-half brace from Alphadjo Cisse to claim a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.
Bologna turned the match around in the second half through an own goal by Milan's Davide Bartesaghi, followed just 60 seconds later by Mbangula's second strike. Mbangula subsequently sealed his hat-trick and Bologna's victory on a counter-attack set up by Jens Odgaard.
