Italy head coach Roberto Mancini is considering several lineup changes ahead of Friday's UEFA Nations League match against France. After an encouraging 4-1 victory away against Turkiye on Monday, the Azzurri are preparing for their third fixture within a week. Riccardo Calafiori and Gianluca Mancini are reportedly the defenders most likely to return to the starting defense alongside goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Squad rotation is also expected across midfield and attack, with Sandro Tonali potentially being rested for Nicolo Barella. Forward Giacomo Raspadori has withdrawn from the squad, while Moise Kean could replace Francesco Pio Esposito up front. Michael Kayode and Davide Frattesi are hoping to retain their starting spots following their goals against Turkiye.
