De Miguel, 30, lost his life following a horror collision with FC Andorra goalkeeper Jesus Owonu in the latter stages of a second division game.

Spanish club Tenerife have committed to financially supporting the one-year-old daughter of Jesus de Miguel until she turns 18, following the striker's tragic death. The 30-year-old died from accidental chest trauma after a collision with FC Andorra goalkeeper Jesus Owono during a second division match. A public fundraiser for De Miguel's family has crossed £125,000, with contributions from footballers Alvaro Morata and Alex Baena.
Tenerife CEO Antonio Manuel Porro Granados confirmed the club's initiative, while the player's family is also reportedly set to receive around £300,000 in base compensation. Meanwhile, police are investigating the emergency response and whether Owono could face involuntary manslaughter charges, though legal experts doubt criminal charges will result.
