Canelo Alvarez–Christian Mbilli Testing Window Keeps Shrinking

The VADA testing program for Canelo Alvarez's scheduled October 31 bout against Christian Mbilli in Riyadh has not yet started. With approximately a month remaining before the WBC super middleweight title fight, an official reported that promoter Sela had not paid VADA, and the agency confirmed it had not yet been contacted regarding the contest.

Alvarez's adviser Richard Schaefer stated that Canelo is ready to be tested and has submitted his whereabouts forms. Schaefer indicated that Sela is in touch with VADA, while also noting Mbilli's enrollment in the WBC Clean Boxing Program.
