Former world champion Joe Cordina has agreed to terms to face boxing legend Manny Pacquiao on the undercard of the Tyson Fury versus Anthony Joshua fight. Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that negotiations are at an advanced stage for the December 11 event at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, though the bout is not yet officially finalized.
The contest would mark 47-year-old Pacquiao's first career fight in the United Kingdom. For Cardiff-born Cordina, 34, the bout offers a high-profile hometown return after he was recently cleared of assault charges that had previously stalled his career.
