There’s only one kind of business Dana White will gladly admit to failing at: funny business. No, not the kind of funny business with which boxing is often associated: corruption, cash-grabs, and the self-interests of the select few – things…

Dana White has detailed his vision for disrupting professional boxing through Zuffa Boxing while dismissing traditional promoters as his direct competition. Speaking to Boxing News, the UFC CEO stated that his true commercial rivals are major sports leagues such as the NFL and NBA rather than figures like Eddie Hearn. White also revealed that stand-up comedy remains the single venture he considers his greatest personal failure after a torturous experience in 2016.
White outlined his long-term broadcasting strategy, pointing to a $7.7 billion Paramount streaming agreement aimed at bringing boxing to a mainstream audience. While continuing to push for an undisputed Zuffa Championship model, White acknowledged a fluid approach that currently accommodates fighters pursuing established sanctioning body titles from the WBC and IBF.
