DAZN surprised everyone by announcing the new face of its Inside the Ring boxing show. The broadcasting company revealed on social media on Tuesday that Hollywood star Mario Lopez would host the show. However, the real shocker followed with reports…
DAZN has replaced host Max Kellerman with Hollywood actor Mario Lopez for the second season of its boxing show Inside the Ring. According to a Front Office Sports report, both Kellerman and LeSean McCoy have been removed from the broadcast. Lopez will step in as the full-time host alongside a rotating panel of boxing analysts.
Co-host Mike Coppinger will stay on as the lead insider as the show expands to air twice weekly on DAZN and Ring Magazine's YouTube channels. Lopez brings both broadcasting background and boxing training experience from Freddie Roach's Wild Card Boxing Club. The departure marks another major exit for Kellerman, following his previous dismissals from ESPN programs.
