DAZN has officially announced an exclusive multi-fight deal with welterweight titleholder Devin Haney. The formal agreement comes directly following the collapse of a proposed bout between Haney and Shakur Stevenson. Haney stated that partnering with the streaming platform removes uncertainty regarding his ability to secure the biggest matchups in boxing.
The 27-year-old fighter has not competed in nearly a year, last stepping into the ring in November to defeat Brian Norman for the WBO welterweight title. DAZN executives indicated that the deal is expected to deliver marquee matchups for both the fighter and the streaming platform.
