Fabio Wardley has confirmed he is working on his jab following advice from Oleksandr Usyk ahead of his upcoming rematch against Daniel Dubois. Wardley is scheduled to challenge Dubois for the WBO heavyweight title at London's O2 Arena on October 17, 2026. The bout offers Wardley a chance to reclaim the belt he lost to Dubois in May.
Usyk previously criticized Wardley for not using his jab enough during his eleventh-round stoppage defeat to Dubois. Wardley acknowledged the advice from the undisputed champion, stating he is making the necessary adjustments. Wardley triggered a rematch clause to secure the fight at the O2 Arena.
