Look, Ryan Garcia vs. Floyd Mayweather likely isn't going to happen. But boxing still has plenty of intrigue to offer this weekend, including two compelling world title fights on opposite sides of the Atlantic.
Ryan Garcia claimed he agreed to defend his WBC welterweight title against Floyd Mayweather Jr., but sources close to the situation told Uncrowned that no serious negotiations have taken place. Meanwhile, Emanuel Navarrete and O'Shaquie Foster headline a major weekend in boxing as they meet in San Antonio, Texas, for a super featherweight three-belt unification bout.
The loaded weekend schedule also features WBC super lightweight champion Dalton Smith defending his belt against Alberto Puello in Sheffield, England. Additional boxing headlines include an announced December championship doubleheader featuring David Benavidez and Vergil Ortiz Jr., as well as reported talks regarding a welterweight unification clash between Devin Haney and Liam Paro.
