Isaac Cruz is set to headline a heavily altered DAZN boxing card in San Diego after food poisoning forced Jesus Ramos Jr. out of his scheduled fight against Meiirim Nursultanov. Cruz will defend his interim WBC light welterweight title against Nestor Bravo in the main event. The withdrawal of the Ramos-Nursultanov bout has left the card relying heavily on developing fighters.
To fill the co-main event slot, Premier Boxing Champions elevated a super middleweight bout between Daniel Blancas and Sergio Jimenez. Additionally, Olympic bronze medalist Eumir Marcial will now face Omar Huerta in the DAZN opening fight. Cruz, who recently began working with trainer Eddy Reynoso, faces pressure to deliver an entertaining performance against Bravo.
