Hamzah Sheeraz is scoffing at the money on the table for his ordered clash with Janibek Alimkhanuly, yet the numbers reflect his true commercial standing.

Queensberry Promotions has won the WBO purse bid for the ordered middleweight clash between Janibek Alimkhanuly and Hamzah Sheeraz with a bid of $1,001,809. Under the 75-25 split, Sheeraz is set to earn approximately $751,357. However, Sheeraz has publicly questioned the financial figures of the fight, leading to an exchange on social media between himself and Janibek's manager, Egis Klimas.
Sheeraz reportedly has only one fight remaining on his current promotional contract with Queensberry and is looking toward testing free agency with Dana White's Zuffa Boxing. Observers suggest that taking on a dangerous southpaw puncher like Janibek right before entering open negotiations represents a significant business risk for the British fighter.
